Side Street Kids More Than Dance
Side Street Kids credo is "MORE THAN DANCE!". When you step through the doors at the SSK Academy you are immersed into a caring community that goes well beyond the dance floor. All memebers must have current scholastic report cards on file. These report cards are reviewed by a NY State Licensed teacher in order to assess academic strengths and weaknesses. Some examples of the credo are:

Collected and distributed over 600 toys during Holiday Toy Drives to hospitals and various CBO's.

Collected over 200 coats for 2000 COMITE NOVIEMBRE DAY OF COMMUNITY SERVICE AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

Provided Thanksgiving meals for the homeless.

Presented Mambo Workshop to NYC Board of Education.

Produced Off-Broadway musical, Latin Madness.
